Questions people ask before they start
Is Yip a real pharmacy? +
Yes. We are registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council under number 9012473 and dispense from a registered premises in Glasgow. You can check the register yourself.
How much does the assessment cost? +
Nothing. The assessment and the prescriber review are free, however many times you complete one. You are charged only if a treatment is approved, and refunded in full if it isn't.
How quickly will I get a decision? +
Same day, in most cases. Submit before 3pm on a weekday and you will usually have your treatment on the way before the pharmacy closes.
Will the packaging say what's inside? +
No. Everything goes out in plain, unbranded packaging with nothing on the outside referring to the medicine or to Yip.
What if I'm not approved? +
You pay nothing, and the clinician explains why. Often that means a question back to you, or a recommendation to see your GP first.
Can I cancel a treatment plan? +
Any time, from your account, with no notice period and no cancellation fee. You can also change dose or frequency without paying for another consultation.
