How we're regulated

Everything on this page is checkable. If a health service won't tell you who is accountable and where they are based, that's the thing to worry about.

The people who review every order

Every registration number below can be checked on the relevant register. Ask who reviewed your assessment and we'll tell you.

Ms A Ismail

Superintendent Pharmacist · Pharmacist Independent Prescriber
GPhC 2078451 · verify on the register

Accountable for how medicines are handled here, from the wording of each questionnaire through to what leaves the dispensary. Signs off every prescribing protocol and reviews them when MHRA guidance changes.

Why we ask so many questions

A questionnaire is not paperwork. It's the only way a prescriber who can't examine you can decide whether a medicine is safe for you.

See the assessment
Assessment before options
You answer questions first, then see what's suitable. We don't show you a shop of prescription medicines and ask you to pick.
Preference, not prescription
You can tell us what you'd prefer. The prescriber decides with you, and may substitute or decline.
Paid only on approval
If we can't supply, you're refunded in full and told why, with somewhere else to go.
Your GP in the loop
For higher-risk treatments we ask for your GP details and consent to share. It's safer when everyone treating you knows what you take.

Reviews

Our reviews cover the service - how quickly we responded, how discreet the delivery was, how helpful the team were. We don't publish reviews about how a medicine performed, because that isn't something we're allowed to advertise, and one person's experience of a medicine tells you nothing reliable about yours.

Answered in the afternoon, arrived the next morning. Packaging gave nothing away, which was the bit I cared about.

David · verified customer

The pharmacist actually replied to my question rather than sending a template. Made the whole thing feel less like buying off a website.

Priya · verified customer

They turned me down and told me to see my GP. Annoying at the time, fair enough in hindsight, and I got my money back the same day.

Delivery

Free tracked standard
On every order, no minimum. Usually next working day if dispensed before 3pm.
Named day or express
Available at checkout for a fee, where the treatment allows it.
Plain packaging
No branding, no medicine name, nothing on the outside that says what's inside or where it came from.
Cold chain
Temperature-controlled packaging for treatments that need it, with delivery timed so nothing sits on a doorstep.

If something goes wrong

Tell us and we'll investigate properly. Complaints go to the Superintendent Pharmacist, not a support queue.

1. Tell us
Email help@yip.co.uk or call 0808 169 9594. Include your order reference if you have one.
2. We acknowledge in 2 working days
With the name of the person handling it.
3. Full response within 10 working days
Longer only if a clinical review is needed, and we'll tell you if so.
4. If you're still not satisfied
You can escalate to the General Pharmaceutical Council. We'll give you the details rather than make you look for them.

Report a side effect

Tell us, and report it to the MHRA Yellow Card scheme too - that's how safety warnings like the 2025 finasteride advice come about in the first place.
